Spanish teacher Jason Noble brought a total of 10 PC students with two teams of five to the annual Heartland AEA Knowledge Bowl competition held in Des Moines at DMACC. One team consisting of juniors Jead Van Maanen, Levi Jansen, Kyle Howey and sophomores Isaiah Gritters and Nathan Vermeer made it to the final round and finished in 3rd place. “I would say it went pretty well and was a very fun experience,” said Van Maanen. “There was also pretty friendly competition and it was fun to joke around with the other students between rounds. We were willing to use our knowledge and take educated guesses. Overall it went alot better then we expected.”
