Aaron Baart, Dordt College’s Dean of Chapel, will be speaking for PC’s Spiritual Renewal Days March 1 and 2. Baart and his team will be going around to classes and interacting with the students, focusing on how our story fits into God’s story.
These two days will include more than just hearing from Baart. Dordt’s praise team will lead worship to begin and end each day.
Spiritual Renewal Days have been a part of the school year for decades. The speakers find a way to connect with the students and share God’s word in a way that everyone can understand. “It’s a good time to focus on the Spiritual part of (PC’s) mission and nature, rather than the academics,” said chapel advisor Tim Van Voorst.
Baart has spoken at PC in the past, addressing the effects pornography has on the brain and how to stay away from it as a Christian. He regularly travels and speaks on issues like identity, teen sexuality, pornography, culture engagement and mission living.
