Are you in the mood to watch something that will brighten your day after a long, dreary winter? If you are, The Greatest Showman is a must-watch movie. The movie was released in the theaters on December 8, 2017, and earned $424.8 million worldwide for box office. Also when the movie was released on DVD on April 10, it sold out at Walmart in Pella within 4 days.

The Greatest Showman is about a man named P.T. Barnum, played by Hugh Jackman, who was also in Les Miserables which came out in 2012, and how he becomes the founder of the circus industry. He encounters people on the way who will influence his life like Philip, played by Zac Efron, and Anne Wheeler, played by Zendaya. Throughout the movie, it exposes some social injustices about the treatment of people who were not considered “normal” and the noticeable gap between the rich and poor.

The movie contains elements that makes it entertaining as well as heart-warming. It has an amazing soundtrack which will make you want to dance and sing for days, comedic moments, action that will keep you on your toes, touching moments that will possibly make you want to reach for that box of kleenexes, and of course, some romance that is considered “goals.”

You can rent The Greatest Showman on Amazon Video, iTunes, and Vudu or buy on DVD. Ladies and gents, prepare yourselves for the greatest show ever.
