Blunck, Eggink to retire; other staffing changes set for next fall

Several staff changes are occurring this spring as two long time-teachers retire and two others transition into different roles. After a combined 57 years of nurturing and educating students at Pella Christian, vice principal and social studies teacher Larry Eggink and family consumer sciences teacher Jan Blunck will be retiring. An open house will be held to congratulate them on Sunday, May 27, from 2:00-4:00. Click on these links to read more about Eggink’s career and Blunck’s career. Jana Dembski will also leaving to explore what God has in store for her. Although she was at Pella Christian for only a short time, it was meaningful and she was able to bless many students. You can read her story here. Industrial arts teacher Paul Monsma will be switching to from full time to part time next fall. The new vocational ag teacher will take over some of his curriculum which frees Monsma up to do more of what he loves. His story is here.
