‘Enchanted Forest’ greets JSB guests

by Bethany Spencer

The junior class hosted the annual Junior Senior Banquet on Friday, April 20. The theme was Enchanted Forest. The event was planned by a group of junior girls led by Rochelle McClellan. Decorations included strings of lights, succulent plants, and candles.

Doors opened at 5:45, with a dinner of chicken, cheesy potatoes, green beans, and cheesecake at 6:30. Following dinner, juniors Ben Vos and Lucas Bandstra hosted entertainment in the auditorium. Games included card suck and “how well do you know your date?”

After entertainment, students returned to the gym to dance, or played games in the commons. The parents of the junior class hosted an after party at the Vermeer Pavilion, with various competitions and prizes. “My favorite part of the night was being with friends and dancing the night away,” said junior Taryn Hugen.
