Seniors enjoy Kansas City trip

An arcade, zoo, and baseball game were highlights of the senior class trip. Seniors and their homeroom sponsors left for Kansas City on Thursday April 26. Once there, they spent the remainder of the day at the Kansas City Zoo and Dave & Busters, a restaurant famous for their food and arcade. While at Dave & Busters, students enjoyed games such as Guitar Hero and Speed of Light.

The following day was full of activities. In the morning the seniors explored Paradise Park, which offers go karting, bumper cars, laser tag, mini golf, and more. After this, they went to the Crown Center, a local mall, to hang out or shop. The evening consisted of a major league baseball game- the Kansas City Royals versus the Chicago White Sox.

Directly after the game they packed up and headed back to Pella, arriving early Saturday morning. “My favorite parts of the trip were hanging out at the hotel, swimming, talking with friends, and playing games. Those were the best times because everyone was together,” said senior Kaitlyn Law.
