COVID-19 disrupts spring break, classes

PC students began their first weekday of spring break on Monday, March 16, but by the end of that day some new developments had changed many plans.  A communication sent out at 7:15 that evening informed PC families that “Pella Christian Schools and Creation Station Preschools will be honoring Governor Reynolds’ request and will suspend all on-campus operations immediately until classes resume on April 13.”

Since then, suspension of classes has been extended until April 30, and feelings of uncertainty remain about classes and events scheduled for May.

A few students, many belonging to the Eagle’s Cry staff, shared their recollections of spring break and how they felt about receiving the news that they would not be returning to classes and classmates at the end of it.  The following links will take you to their stories.
