StuCo invited eighth-graders from surrounding Christian schools to tour the high school on Wednesday, February 10. The eighth-graders came from Pella Christian, Osky Christian, Newton Christian, Peoria Christian, Sully Christian, as well as some individual eighth graders.
Student Council director Greg Wojczynski continued the tradition of bring prospective eighth graders to the high school. “I think it’s important for them to get out of their school and come to ours and just see the school,” said Wojczynski. “We also want them to meet other students who could potentially be their classmates in the fall.”
The eighth graders were able to experience a chapel, and toured the school in groups. “Chapel planning class told the eighth graders about chapel, sang some songs, and showed them a video about the meaning of chapel,” said senior Greta Kelderman.
This year’s eighth grade visit day differed from previous years because of COVID-19 restrictions, but Pella Christian was happy to welcome them.
