Wendy, John, and Michael (senior Jalayna Morgan, junior Ryan Van Gilst and sophomore Tyler Egesdal) watch eagerly as Peter Pan (senior James Beyer) soars high above their heads. Peter Pan, directed by Marlo Van Peursem, broke the standing record of tickets sold for PC theater production, selling 2982 seats, including the matinee, while Saturday’s performance had a total of 833 seats alone.
“I think the performances went really well,” said Van Peursem. “There were a lot of creative additions to this musical which the cast handled superbly, such as the flying effects, ten little elementary boys, nine-piece orchestra, huge set pieces that had to be moved on and stored, and many other challenging aspects.”
